rgbmovie
Once you have created a series of images with GMV, you will need something
to view them with. rgbmovie serves this purpose. Much like SGI's "movie"
utility, it reads in a series of "rgb" format images and displays them rapidly
forward and/or backward. rgbmovie differs from SGI's "movie" utility in that
it will run on any machine running Xwindows that has either 8-bit PseudoColor
or 24-bit TrueColor at its disposal. See below for information on obtaining
the movie player.
- Precompiled binaries:
- SunOS 4.1.x
(statically linked)
- SGI Irix
5.3
- HPUX
- Solaris
- The source
code for rgbmovie.
- Note: To compile the program, you must have Motif and X11.
You should modify the "makefile" to suit your needs.
- Some images to
try out with rgbmovie.
