GMV Linux Binaries
The following are the binary executable versions of GMV available
for Linux:
- Linux 64-bit version with Mesa OpenGL to X API
- The Linux 64-bit version with Mesa OpenGL to X API has been statically linked with all necessary libraries. This version converts the OpenGL commands to X11R6 commands via the Mesa interface. There is no graphics acceleration, so this version may be slow.
- The file name is "linux64Mesa" rename it to "gmvMesa".
- Linux 64-bit OpenGL version
- The linux64ogl version will dynamially link with the OpenGL shared libraries. Add the library path to LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
- The file name is "linux64ogl" rename it to "gmv".
- Linux 64-bit Batch version
- The Linux Batch version has been statically linked with the Mesa library. This version uses Mesa's OSMesa buffers to generate an off-screen image and save it to an SGI RGB file.
- The file name is "linux64Batch" rename it to "gmvBatch".
